ABOUT THE ARTIST

I had our friend Bob Aronson work up a website for me because of the request of friends to have one. This is what we came up with.

I am 93 years old and still at it. There is a painting of my wife looking at dolphins in the Indian River in Florida on the easel right now. Most of the works are of places we have been or people we know unless they were commissions. Again, friends have established a mantra for me and that is: “I hide in my hills and paint.” This is true.

I was fortunate enough to lead an art class through the Bethlehem, NY school district’s Adult Education program for over 30 years, of which many fine artists attended. It was a great learning experience for me, and if it wasn’t for the new white lights on cars now, I would probably still be doing it. Driving at night, in the fog, snow and ice through the park also became not fun.
